Description

This is a D&D character that I made recently for a campaign that one of my friends is running. The scenario is prehistoric Earth, where Pangaea didn't break, or at least, hasn't yet. Raptors are currently the dominant species, evolving to a point where they have developed multiple cultures, and are all working to keep the humans from evolving enough to take dominance while they fight each other as well.

Cradleroot is a member of one of the two "human" races (cro-magnon, and neanderthal). She is a neanderthal and a member of the Furie tribe. Her people used to have a good life, living in the steppes of the main mountain range, a true hunter/gatherer group, they cultivated many ground and vine crops, sometimes even climbing up into the trees themselves to plant the crops in the natural bowls that the branches would make. That ended when the raptors pushed through the mountains and scorched their land in its entirety. The land that they had been cultivating and living off of for generations was now no more, and they were forced to flee north, to colder climes, where perhaps the raptors would not come, if they did not have to.

My character lives by her people's choice to only use things that are natural (rock, bone, wood) for weapons, and clothing, and she has a compulsion to, where ever she travels, to plant seeds of the great trees that used to grow in her home, in the hopes that the future children that will come, will have a home to go back to.

Yeah, that's about it. I spent so long on her, looking up pictures of neanderthal women, and physical stats, and... phew. but she came out good. I spent a long time on the hides for her outfit, and that fur hood came out exceptionally well... but holy cow, it's been a while since I submitted anything... Sorry guys.
